This class is suitable for beginners to dressmaking (you will need to have completed my complete intro to sewing class or be at an equivalent level) "With no darts, zips or set-in sleeves, Stevie is a satisfyingly quick and easy make - yay! We provide you with the pattern, sewing machines, scissors, pins, expert tuition and copious amounts of tea and coffee! All you need to do is bring your fabric and thread.  We will start the day showing you how to choose and grade your pattern size to get the best fit and how to pin and cut out your fabric accurately.  We will then start the proccess of sewing your dress or top! You will be guided every step of the way by our passionate, friendly and patient teachers. We only have small group sizes so plenty of help is available. There will be a lunch break half way throuh the day where you can bring a packed lunch or get some fresh air and visit one of the local cafes.  At the end of the day we will marvel in your dressmaking awesomeness and have a little photo shoot of your new make! SKILL LEVEL - Beginners FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - Light- to medium-weight woven fabrics, such as linen, double gauze, chambray, cotton lawn, viscose (rayon).
