Kids make a book cushion

SATURDAY Saturday 29th August 10am-2:30pm
 
Learn how to sew a book cushion. A cosy cushion with a special book sized pocket and handy handle to carry it about.
 
Suitable for children 7+
 
For Children under 8 years we would recommend a supervising adult to come along (free of charge) to help out with the fiddley bits!
 
Children 8+ are welcome to come unaccompanied but we require an adult to drop off and collect when the class has finished.
 
No sewing experience required as we will have a little practice first!
 
What will you need to bring?
50cm of fabric for the main cushion
25cm of fabric for the pocket
Matching thread
 
We recommend 100% cotton or polycotton fabric for this project.
You will receive 10% off if bought from us.  
 
There will be a 30min break, you are welcome to bring lunch with you or go out to a local cafe. Children unaccompanied by an adult will not be allowed out of the workshop and will remain supervised by staff.
 
Please note that once the class has been booked, it is non refundable so please ensure you can make the date.
